Bridgerton-Inspired Fashion and Decor For The Regencycore Bride

If you’re anything like me, you may have started out 2021 by binging the first half of the season of Netflix’s Bridgerton then pumped the brakes when you realized you needed to savor each episode because you couldn’t bare for it to end. Thus, leading you to only just recently finishing the gracefully, well-done Netflix Original show. Lady Whistledown would absolutely be judging me.

Bridgerton’s modern interpretation of the opulent 19th century is a feast for the eyes and is just so much fun as it transports you to a different but familiar era. The costumes, set design, and comedic love story had me hooked from the first episode. One of my favorite elements of the show is the beautiful use of classical instrumental covers of modern pop hits, such as Ariana Grande’s Thank You Next performed by Vitamin String Quartet. The musical covers featured throughout the show are available for your enjoyment on Spotify and again, if you’re anything like me, you’ll have this playlist on repeat for weeks after finishing the show.

Since finishing the show, I’ve been left longing for more of the romantic and feminine styles Daphne, Eloise, and Penelope donned. I thought it would be fun to round up some Bridgerton-inspired fashion and décor pieces, with my own modern-day twist (in true Bridgerton fashion! *Curtsy*).

Bridgerton Inspired Fashion and Home Decor

In order from left to right:

  1. A dress for afternoon naps or whatever else you fancy

  2. This darling bumble bee necklace featuring a pearl and the daintiest diamond set in yellow gold

  3. Enjoy your next afternoon cuppa in this adorable Swan Lake tea cup. This collection is also delightful.

  4. A pink velvet bow barrette for your hair. Very Penelope!

  5. A pair of chic round-framed sunglasses

  6. Can you imagine cooking on this range? It’s assembled in France and “meticulously hand finished” and wow, the details of this beauty do not go unseen.

  7. An antique Georgian period ring just like the Duchess of Hastings’ wedding ring (which we got a close-up of while she was playing the piano)

  8. This fashionable swimsuit with a gorgeous print resembling those that adorned the walls throughout the show. This one is also so cute, just with a smaller print.

  9. This mask is embellished with silk and chiffon florals, pearls, and beading and is a stunning work of art. Similar here.

Have you seen all the episodes or are you in the savoring-and-refusing-to-allow-the-magic-to-end stage? Send me a DM if you need someone to Bridgerton fan girl alongside you!

If you’re a bride-to-be, or know one who is regencycore-obsessed and loved everything about Bridgerton, please share about The Mrs. Book with her! The vintage illustrations and dusty blues and gentle grey throughout the book and overall romance of the content to be filled in the pages within the book, is something I like to imagine the Duchess of Hastings herself owning and filling out on a quiet Sunday afternoon.
