Hi there! Sophie here with my first round of #FridayIntroductions. I'm so excited to kick things off and share more as we get closer and closer to our official launch (early 2020)! Are you signed up for our newsletter? That’s where we’ll be announcing as soon as we are officially launched and we’ll be offering an exclusive 10% off to newsletter subscribers. If you’re not already signed up, you can do so here.

1. I'm a California native and recent bride. I married my handsome husband, Jordan, earlier this year in Tulum. Our wedding was an absolute dream-come-true. Planning an international, multi-cultural wedding filled with day-of personalizations and details from our San Francisco home (3,000 miles away from Tulum) was no easy task and I will be forever grateful to the team of talented, hard-working vendors that helped make our vision a reality. If you’re even considering a destination wedding, but are on the fence, I’d love to hear from you. Shoot me an email at sophie@themrsbook.com — I’d be more than happy to share more about our experience! We are incredibly glad we went the destination route, despite the (slightly) extra stress.

2. To me, the details are never just the details and QUALITY trumps quantity, any day. I've always been the type of gal who needs to see all the options, touch everything (why yes, my husband does in fact hate shopping with me for this very reason), envision how it'll all work together, and then... hold onto it all. Which leads to my third and final point...

3. Sentimental Sophie might as well be my name. Documenting and cherishing your memories is just as important as making them, which is why I created The Mrs. Book. You spend too long dreaming and planning your dream wedding for it to be over in the blink of an eye. The Mrs. Book helps you slow down amidst the chaos of wedding planning. Through timeless design and short, curated prompts, you'll be able to document everything from how he asked to how you felt the morning of the wedding, and have a beautiful place to store all the special cards, photos, and mementos that allow you to re-live your most sacred memories for years to come.

That's all for now! I'll be back soon for another round of introductions. For the latest updates, be sure to follow along on Instagram @themrsbook and subscribe to our newsletter.

xo,

Sophie
